Match your battery storage system, heat pump, charging station and control system to your solar production. Which addition is right for you depends on your system and your everyday routine.
Initial situation
When do you produce, and when do you consume?
Your solar system produces electricity during the day. Your household also needs electricity in the morning, evening and at night.
First examine everyday use, then the solution
Look at when your system generates electricity and when you need it. Also take into account your heat pump and charging your electric car. With Home Energy you can coordinate storage and controllable consumers. A suitable solution depends on the system size, consumption profile and existing devices – not solely on having the largest possible battery.
Options
What suits your everyday life?
The modules perform different tasks and can be combined to form an energy system.
Battery storage
01
Battery storage
Store surplus solar power during the day and use it during hours when production is lower.
Heat pump
02
Heat pump
A controllable heat pump can use surplus solar power for heating or hot water.
Charging station
03
Charging station
A suitable charging station and control system enable charging with surplus solar power.
Energy management
04
Energy management
Home Energy Connect controls suitable consumers and lets you influence their use via the app.
Control
Control automatically, intervene manually
Home Energy Connect connects energy management with control via an app.

Frequently asked questions
What addition do you really need?
Not every system needs the same components. What matters is how they interact with your consumption.
Check existing devices and the desired usage before expanding your energy system.

In the Home Energy Connect app, you can prioritise suitable consumers and adjust settings. With a supported charging station, for example, you can choose between solar, combined and fast charging.
You need a suitable Home Energy Connect controller, a Standard or Premium subscription and an internet connection. For existing devices, checks are carried out to determine whether they can be integrated and controlled.
A battery storage system is one possible addition. Suitable control of a heat pump or charging station can also increase self-consumption. Which combination makes sense depends on production, consumption and the existing devices.
No. The self-consumption rate describes the proportion of your solar production that you use yourself. The degree of self-sufficiency describes the proportion of your total electricity demand that is covered by your own solar power.
No. An existing Home Energy Monitoring contract with Solarlog is not compatible with the Home Energy Connect app. Connect requires its own control system and a suitable subscription. Have your initial situation assessed.
